The weather has been terrible the last two days very windy. So I have done nothing but just relax and watch the nba playoffs. But as soon as the wind stops I got to start loading up again for another month long trip. I also have to wash the coach.

Not today but recently. Replaced a defective $193 Norcold ice maker with an identical Whirlpool model for $41.

Working perfectly.

Installed new Flojet R4525743A Sensor VSD Constant Pressure DC Water Pump to replace the old pump which was frozen and broke last winter. This new pump is a lot quieter than the old pump, I love it. I am now sanitizing the water system prior to our 17 day trip later this week.

Replaced the cruise control and wiper control on my smart steering wheel. Found ground on wiper that was not working.

If some of that flooring is punky I can highly recommend a product called "Git-rot". Our ham radio club used it on a 60's something trailer almost 30 years ago and it is still holding up well. Mind you it doesn't get used much but still...

Re the staples: we did ours some years ago and I hired a couple of neighbourhood kids to pull the staples!

Thankfully despite the appearance the floor is solid. There are 1 or 2 small spots on the step by the entry door that are spongy. I replaced the plywood there.

I got all the staples out today without the help of the neighbors (but that would have been a good idea). I'm going to let it air out a bit more before I put the poly moisture barrier down.

I put vinyl tile down in the bathroom last season. I'm going to leave that as-is for now. I have enough Pergo to do the bathroom but don't feel like removing the toilet again.

Tore all the carpet out. Water stains are old (the RV sat for a long time with a massive fridge vent leak before I bought it). Putting down some Pergo once I get all the staples out of the plywood.

Just for fun, I drained the water lines, bypassed the hot water heater and removed the the anode. Set up the wet bay heaters. Again....... April 23 and the word is 'Freeze watch and warning' tonight and tomorrow night.

Lessee now, Took it in a week ago last Monday for jack repairs, new seals were covered under service contract as was the new jack motor and also for a new gennie starter, also covered. Got it home and loaded it for a trip to Salt Creek county park on the Straits of Jaun de Fuca for 4 nites and then back to Point Hudson RV park in Port Townsend for a couple of more nites of wind and rain. Awesome, only left the MH several times to walk the dog.
Washed the rig and polished the wheels, but it started to rain before I could get them covered,so I'll have to do it again later. Also changed the sink drain in the bathroom 'cuz it was REALLY lookin' nasty and corroded. I also hit the radiator and coolers with a mixture of blue dawn and Zep 505, let it sit for a bit and then hit it with a sweeper nozzle. It's amazing how dirty they are and I haven't driven in any wet weather since last time it was cleaned. Humm, note to self, gotta get the pressure washer back from the kids.

Still in the make ready mode on the RV, trailer and dolly for our move back to Texas. Since we're leaving here this coming Friday, I decided to go on and do the tie down straps my '13 Mustang on the trailer which is already hooked to the RV. The dolly and loading the wife's car on it has to wait until we rent & load the U-haul.
