Motor home garage has about 2' of solidified (formerly wet) snow in front of both doors. Will have to clean it out one of these days when it gets warmer (-4ยฐF this morning).

Checked the level on the batteries and added H2O as needed, drained H2O from front auxilary air tank, and ran genset under load for 20 minutes. Sighed and wished I was leaving to go somewhere. ๐Ÿ˜ž ๐Ÿ˜ž

Painful & costly but the converter finally died and had to replace it. While we were at it, I found a nice 1500 Xantrex inverter/charger with remote panel for under $300 on Craigslist and installed that as well. This is my 1st sneaky step towards getting the DW more receptive a little boondocking ๐Ÿ™‚

I just got my first RV a few weeks ago and since the engine doesnt run, I pulled it around to the shop and got after it with a bucket of soapy water and a brush. After sitting next to a tree for the last year or so while broken, its gotten very dirty. The ol Pace Arrow cleaned up quite nicely. I did sit in the drivers seat for the very first time, just to kind of get a feel for what its gonna be like when I get it fixed, LOL...

Removed the Wingard antenna-- we went with a King Control 2200 that is satellite PLUS off-air antenna.

Before junking the old crank up antenna, I did a test. In our metal storage building, did a channel seek. The King came up with 4 more channels than did the crank up antenna.

SO, removed the antenna, made wood plugs to fill the large holes. Then West System Epoxied the holes.

Weather permitting, tomorrow will sand and paint that part of the roof (fiberglass). The antenna was one of the few things that, under certain side-wind conditions rattled on our coach.
