Not long after I bought the Tiger, I added a set of cab steps (remember, this is based on a 4x4 pickup). Regrettably, I dropped about $100 on a set of 'Rhino' brand spring-loaded steps. They came with next to no installation instructions. They also never worked well, since as your weight went onto them, they pivoted partway under the rocker panel as they went down on the spring. I worried that someone would step up on one unaware and get their lower shin bruised, or break an ankle. And the black paint job dropped off it big flakes within a few years, leaving a rusty mess.
A few days ago, I got around to looking for and finding some 'Bully' brand cab steps, stationary and in aluminum. $55 for the pair at Autozone. Today I pulled the Rhino cr*p off of the passenger's side, and replaced it with the Bully. Shoulda done it a long time ago. I lost the shade in the driveway, so I left the driver's side to do tomorrow AM.
Jim, "I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
