This is always a fun thread to watch in other forums, so I thought I'd start one here.

Changed the engine oil and filter. I hadn't changed my own oil in years. Forgot how easy it really is, especially since the front of the MH was parked on it's wooden leveling ramps there was plenty of clearance underneath.

Not just today but over the past three weeks we have been prepping it for lots of summer camping.

We have washed, waxed and sealed the exterior. Washed and waxed the floors. Washed all the linen that was stored there over the winter, it was clean, but I prefer freshly washed linen. Washed the rugs too.

Took out all the dishes and washed in the big kitchen.

Installed a hanging shelf in one closet, I do not know why but this RV has three separate closets, and only 4 small drawers in the kitchen. And the previous owners put a closet rod in the shower too. Where they stored their socks and knickers I do not know. I have already put a drawer unit in one closet

Sanitized the fresh water tank yesterday, I also bleached out the fresh water hoses. I just poured 1/4 cup of bleach in the end, added water and fastened the ends together and swung the hoses around, then drained. Used the same hoses to fill fresh tank so they got well rinsed.

Today we dumped the tanks, tomorrow I will drain the fresh water tank and refill. Bought the orange lego leveling blocks, the 360 vent cap, a little folding stool as the step is fussy, and we were quoted $500.00 to repair it. I am happy to have a small step. DH finished touch up painting and replaced the non-skid strips on the running boards and bumper (for the ladder).

Ole Moby is looking good.

The dog is getting excited, she had knee surgery 6 weeks ago and was not moving too well, now she is acting like an eager puppy (not bad for a nine year old dog).

Oh we also made our ferry reservation, canceled the papers, arranged for the cats, mail etc.

I am feeling so organized that I am sure I have forgotten something.

And best of all the sun was finally shining.

Called Dealership to inquire if warranty repairs have been completed. Was told our unit went into the shop today. Should be ready early next week. Getting real close to 7 weeks waiting now. Two of those weeks were lost while waiting for approval of the repairs and another week and half were lost waiting for parts to be shipped in.

topped up the A/C ,checked everything under the hood,fixed crack in shower,new screen in door-filled up,decided on which fishing gear to load and which brands of beer 🙂

Completed lowering microwave so DW can use it without a step stool. While doing project found out a fan on microwave was not setup to vent stove. Installed a thru-wall vent and configured vent fan to blow outside. There is a now a cabinet where microwave was.
DW went into MH to check out completed project. While in there she filled new cabinet with stuff before I could take a picture. She still needs a stool for the cabinet.

After seeing it would cost us $1400.00 for gas,400.00 for rv parks plus possible repairs to go from the western slope of Co. to Port Townsend Wa. I put mine up on blocks where it will stay forever, and made a 4th bedroom out of it for out of town guests who wish to visit..Nuff said.. We're outta here. I refuse to make the oil barons any richer than they already are. No more Rv's for us. You folks will end up eating these hogs for Thanksgiving dinner. Its too late to sell them now. Nobody wants em..Don't believe me? Try and sell yours like I did. Not one call. Adios !!

I took mine to ford dealer for speed switch recall so i got to drive her 30 miles round trip 😃 and put in 20 dollars to get her over th 1/4 mark to run genny.

Picking up our MH today from the dealer after they replaced the smashed window when it was broken into at the storage yard. Had them take care of a few warranty items as well. Can't wait to get it back.

Added central vac system. This really turned out to be a great investment. Much easier to use that everything else we tried. The vacuum mounted under the kitchen seating and the hose reaches every corner of the coach. Very powerful suction even got some stains off the carpet that I thought I would have to use some carpet cleaner on. The Dirt devil system I installed even came with a air powered carpet attachment (has a beater in it) that REALLY works well.

Bought it!! :0) 2004 Winnebago Minnie C31 With one slide.
Can't wait to pick it up at the Dealer's. It will be our 6th motorhome.
We sold our last one, (1995 Minnie Winnie last week)..movin' up!
I get to try to find out what the thermalpane windows are and what the heatpump does and what I can do with a satellite dish antenna??? and if I can just put our Directv card in the unit to watch tv on vacation. :0)

Took it to the Ford dealer, 30 miles away since the local dealer (5 miles away) doesn't work on motorhomes.
Dash AC failed again. This is the 3rd trip to get it fixed. Twice last summer right after purchasing it new.
Last summer they replaced the condenser, said it had a leaky fitting.
This time it's a leaking hose. Good news is... it's covered under warranty, but it will take a week to get the hose.
Just glad we found out it before the summer vacation season.

Installed new 3000W inverter. This runs both TVs and the outlet by the bed. Refrig is also on that circuit for some reason (?) so I will leave that on gas when I am not plugged in until I run a new line for that.

Emptied the tanks and cleaned it out after the weekend boondocking in the Coconino NF, then checked to make sure the blowout at 60 mph on the right front on the way home didn't do any unseen damage underneath.
