One thing you can be sure of is if GSRA had any significant problems that the people on this forum would complain loud and clear. Over ten years I have heard very very few complaints on either service, and it's not GS, it's their contracted tow services, probably the same ones CN uses too.
I just had a flat. Good Sam quoted $750. I called THE SAME REPAIR SHOP. He said I already called. Well, Good Sam had. The actual cost was $500, with ME paying the $95 emergency service call. Good Sam was making $250 on my flat tire. This is new, last blowout (a few years ago) through Good Sam was $500, same as what I just paid. They very well may have taken the $95 and tacked it on, but this time it was $250. The service guy said it is common for all these companies now and never call for a tire, only towing and repairs.
Is that loud and clear enough?

Region may have to do with separate state rules and coverage. As an example; Coachnet no longer offers coverage if you live in MD. New legislation passed regarding RSA plans made it so it was revenue inhibitive to pursue business there so they pulled out. So coverage costs could, and probably are, impacted by various state operating legislation.

If they were to at least offer to price match GS, I might consider them at renewal time. Otherwise, I don't see them as being competitive at that price point.
Read my post above I called them - this discussion is out of hand - I welcome others to call them and confirm my facts

It was simply a thought. There are now a couple of states where Coachnet is no longer available which adds to my thoughts of "regional".
I can't imagine why it would be regional prices on RV's. Many of us travel distances and all over with them.
