For Thanksgiving I saw a lot of motorhomes on the road. This Christmas, as usual, we will be traveling to be with family for Christmas and staying in an RV park. Anyone else RV-ing for Christmas? Last year the park was pretty full.

We just decided to go to the Keys next week for the holidays. We were lucky enough to get reservations at this last minute.

Since my 92 year old MIL sold her house and moved in with my SIL we have been spending all holidays and visits in their real nice city park next to a golf coarse. I guess you can say we bring our hotel suite with us.

We travel on our coach every year for Christmas to Las Vegas, Nevada. We stay at 1000trails and from there we drive over to spend time with our daughter who lives there. Since we are there for Christmas we stay a little longer there and bring in the New Year. We leave around the third of Jan. go home for a few days and head out to the FMCA rally in Indio, California where we will caravan in with the Gulf Stream International group and park together.

Then when we leave there, we caravan to Quartzite for around seven days of roughing it out in the desert.

OR Georgia, Or South Carolina (You are 2 days from where I'm parked in South Carolina)

Have I got a deal for you....$12.00/night though I do not know how long they will let you park on one site (likely a month) You can move site to site.

30 or 50 amp, No sewer but water.. South Cove park, Oconeee County parks, Seneca, SC. You may google it. If you go there PM me.

I left the Taylor Moose Lodge on the Day (WED) Before Thanksgiving about 2-3 pm, Pulled into South Cove about the same time Black Friday.

Park is small, it is a "Finger" (Spit)of land that sticks out into a man made (Duke Enegery) Lake. No matter where you park you are looking out over the water. Most sites, on both sides of your rig.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
