window fan

Have been searching the net for a small fan that would fit inside the "standard" 20X52 MH, 5 ver, rv rig window frame. We don't need a roaring fan,just something to move some air.

The small window fan I have is easy to set up. But I only use it when the coach has been closed up for a while and is very hot and stuffy. My two Fantastic fans plus the window fan quickly pull the heat out. Then the roof acs can do the rest much faster after the really hot air is gone. Or if the outside ambient temp has dropped nicely I will just run the Fantastic fans on low with a couple windows open and enjoy the fresh air. I'm a light sleeper and the roof airs are a bit too noisy for me so at night I only run the ac located in the front of the coach. Fans vs ac totally depends on what states or climates I'm in. For example, up in Maine I rarely run the ac's at all and we often use a small electric heater at night even in the middle of summer. Night time temps in the 50's are typical right on the coast where we stay. Traveling thru states like Florida and Georgia the ac's get a workout day or night.

X2. the one in my reading room pulls enuff air out that it'll hold the door closed if it's on high and you don't want to hold the flush valve open if it's on either.

x3 Turn FF on high exhaust in the back and open 1-2 windows in the front and create a breeze through the RV.

If you do not have or waant to go through an install of the FF, the small 2 fan window fan mentioned above might work. Ya gotta figure out how to set it up.

I bought a small unit at Target of all places that has two fans side by side and is only about 8" high by about 20" wide. And it has flexible side wings to adjust the width wider. It can mount horizontal or vertical and has high/low speeds. You can flip it for exhaust or intake. I use it to draw in cool air faster while the ceiling fan is on exhaust.

I had really good results with my ceiling exhaust fan. Open the window you want air to com in and turn on your exhaust fan.

Just wondering if all you want to do is move some air can't you just open the window and turn on the ceiling vent fan in the exhaust position to draw air in?
