I use AIM to talk back and forth with my business when we travel. Can anyone recommend another program I could use with windows 7 PC's?

With Whatsapp both parties have to have it. It works well for messaging as well as video calls.

Well. in a manner of speaking I actually work for AOL. (Which by the way does not please me one bit.. Actually I help moderate a forum or two for the MEMBERS)

SKYPE would be my suggested replacement Or look for instant messager apps.. Or use messager on your cell phone.

Skype is the best replacement you will find, I think. Since Microsoft owns Skype I'm surprised that they haven't pushed the install to you already?! We use it to communicate at work and it works great. Our company has a business account but I don't like them knowing what I say to co-workers... LOL
