But to ignore it, you usually have to jump through hoops. Be prepared to do so if necessary.

I just read that Google will now label any site that does not use httpS as "unsafe" in a bid to force site owners to adopt SSL. I just tried WWW.DODLODGING.NET and it worked fine from Firefox (producing http://www.dodlodging.net/ with no S).

This is also why I believe you received a browser unsafe warning.

A couple of security scans returned a safe site, not blacklisted by any of the major security sites. It also appears the site is hosted on Amazon AWS in Ashburn, VA.

Some bases have switched to "privatized" lodging. the website are through the contractor.
The prices for many have gone up to as much as off base.
You can search for what base and try going that way,.
In the Trailer life directory is some military listings

I run Firefox, and I get this message every once in a while. Always from a site I use regularly, and if I go back a couple hours later, I don't get it.

I've decided it's just the net having a temporary nervous breakdown. Or Gremlins!

I use IE and Https://www.navy-lodge.com when I look for rooms at CCNAS Lodge in Corpus. Just checked and it is still fine.

I searched for "Air Force Inns" and was at the main site. I looked in the "directory" on the site for Peterson AFB and clicked on it. I clicked on "check availability" and the message came up. I have had the same luck with Navy Inns. In the past on Navy campgrounds site have gotten the same result. I called the Navy number and got a real person and made reservations. We are thinking about attending a wedding in July and want to check availability before planning the auto trip.

It looks like they didn't renew the security certificate in time.
