I only have a Tracfone cellphone and keep it for emergencies only. I have a laptop pc and I would like to know whether I can download the Allstays camping app to the pc. Their website only mentions cellphones like the Android. Thanks for any information.

Niel,

You have two different problems:
Your Tracfone is probably not a smartphone and cannot run apps.
Allstays need network access to work.

Simple answer 1: Upgrade your Tracfone to one that can run Android Apps. (May be $)
Simple answer 2: If you upgrade to an Android phone, buy FoxFi (~10$)and then use the laptop to access Allstays website for no license fee, but you may end up paying for data traffic if you are not careful.

Other than that your only hope is to store the information on your laptop.

Here are your choices to run Android apps on a PC -

If the Allstays app needs to access GPS or a cell signal, these will not work. Also you will need a way to get the app as Google Play, etc. read the Android device to enable downloading compatible apps. But it is worth a try.

There are several Android (operating system used in some Tracphones as well as many other phones) emulators that run on PCs.

One of these emulators might allow you to run the Allstays App on your PC, but if the App relies on the phone features to provide your current Lat/Long location, etc., the Allstays probably wouldn't do you any good on the PC.

You might want to contact the publisher of the Allstays App to see if this question has been answered already.
