Can I bring my Directv Genie and Mini Genie to new location?

We live fulltime in our motorhome and have a rooftop mounted Wingard Traveler antenna and use the Directv Genie and Mini that works quite well.

We would like to bring the two Genie's with us to our Rv lot in Georgia (we're not bringing the motorhome).

We have an older Directv dish (probably not HD) mounted on our cabin there, and realize we may need a new dish with the SWM technology.

My question is, if we bring the Genie and Mini, is there anything else we will need to bring, to be able to use them up in GA? Our MH will stay in Florida for a few months.

If you have a coax to both locations in the RV (the same way you have 2 coax at home) then you don't need anything else.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

The video bridge also. I assume you have a wireless Geenie system?

We do not know where to look for the "Bridge" Apparently we do not have the wireless Genie.

We don't mind buying what we need to make it work in Georgia, but just want to make sure we bring everything we can't purchase up there.

It won't be Free. They charged us just under $75 to get a tech out to install one on a pole,

The small dome dishes on boats and roofs of RV do not receive HD. They only receive SD signals. However, you can use the Genie and Mini with them if you use a power inserter and a multi switch. It is a very easy setup. I have done this for years on my boat and motor home. Therefore you do not need a swm dish.

This worked with my Tracvision, the Kingdome on our old motor home, and the wineguard on our new motor home.

I will tell you there is a rumor Directv will stop broadcasting SD in 2019 making all of these small dome dishes worthless.

You will need a new SMW dish mounted at the new location. You also will not get any Network programming at all (ABC, NBC, etc.) at the new location unless you call DirecTV and have them change your SERVICE ADDRESS (not billing address) to GA. This could likely be done when you call to have them install a new antenna on your GA RV lot.
