Aww, I thought you were going to be the first to say something good about CW
Well, believe it or not I have, in the past said something good about them. They put my Travl'r Direct TV HD satellite on my 5er, (zero issues going on 2 yrs)...They also sold and installed a Splendide washer/dryer combo...though I did have to pull it out and found unit was setting on cold water hose...no biggie....
Anyway....a very nice young man called me (had my name and phone number...don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing:).....He couldn't apologize enough for what happened this morning...He didn't get to work on time due to an issue with the bus his child rides to school. and thus, the registers weren't open yet. (He's one of the Managers)....I understand..The wife and I raised 3 children and now, thanks to a less than useless ex-son-in-law, we have our daughter and two granddaughters living with us...so, yes, even at "almost 65 yrs of age"..I DO understand...I'm heading back in there Saturday and will ask to speak with the young man and believe he set the two chairs and ottomans I wanted off to the side to be sure they had them when I come in....Guess we'll see.
I have to say he impressed me, even through a short rant I ran by him...very courteous and listened, as I did when he explained "why"....
Will follow up Saturday, but feel better about the reason why and the fact that someone did call, (though again, trying to figure out how they know who NC Hauler is :)....may have to change my name to" protect the innocent".....(from the "Old school" Dragnet TV Series...):)

Yep, I learned that in the USAF. If you are 15 minutes early you are on time, if you are on time you are LATE!!!

How true. Back when I was in the Navy if the ship was set to sail at 8:00 if you were not on it you just missed ships movement because the ship was gone. I had always been early to everything because I never wanted to be late and be noticed walking in. Even in my previous job if you were late you were probably going to be sent home. Even if you were only a few minutes late. I think my time is as valuable as there time. JMO

We really need a "like" button for posts like this.

True statement....sell and "good-bye"...and not just CW....but dang, even had two $10 coupons.....may go back this weekend once I get the bad taste out of my mouth......or not...I set in some pretty funky traffic while on 26 where some stinking road construction is going on....

Jim ,
I couldn't agree more... I have been known to walk away from a store that has advertised hours and the ( younger ) employees feel that its more important to chat about their dates last night then it is to open on time..
Growing up I worked at an Exxon Gas station , when I filled on for the weekend gang that meant we opened at 6:00..
My routine had me there at 5:30...lights on first so people knew we were open,, than unlock the pumps (earlier if customers came in)..
That cant be found now a days.. and my wife just keeps telling me that I am getting old..
