First, I like Camping World. We have a store fairly close and it's nice to have a place to shop for the things we need. Not always the best price but very convenient. I occasionally use the C.W. web store if prices are good. Recently purchased a TireMinder TM66 at the C.W website. Price not bad but no one else seems to carry the TM66. A day after I ordered there was a Web special on this....about $40 less than I paid. Called cus. service. It seems they don't have a way to easily give a credit but they did give me a refund. Odd thing, my order had not yet shipped (and would for quite a few more days) but the hold charge for full price remained on C.C. Finally after 7 days, order shipped. I'm billed full price. Get email from CW that refund will be credited in 30-60 days!
So, since I do like C.W. and want them to succeed, a few suggestions.
Faster order fulfillment. If you want to compete with other on-line retailers, an in-stock item should never take 7 days to ship.
Honoring price guarantee. It should not take 30-60 days to adjust a price on an item that has gone on sale while the order was still in process. Even after shipping, a prompt refund of the difference is in order.
Good example, I returned an item to Amazon a few days ago. Brought the package to UPS, within an hour had an email stating my refund would credit to account within 24 hours. They would not even have the item for a few days, yet I already had the credit.
