Is there a easier way to post/view the forum on a phone ?.... I'm on an iPhone 5C.

I looked for the Forum in Tapatalk and didn't see it....It's kind of hard viewing this Forum in Safari... You have to zoom in/out too much!

Is there a easier way ?.... I like this Forum a lot and would like to view/post on it when I'm away from home!.... This is my first time using my phone and it has taken me a long time to post this thread! ๐Ÿ™‚

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

They don't have an App... I just use Safari on my iPhone and iBoats Forum has a ''mobile version'' and that makes it easier to view/read!

Thanks for the replies!

Its not just a problem replying to a thread, the Forum is just to small to read on a phone... So, I have to zoom in to read.

RV.Net is a big Forum and I don't understand why they don't have an App for the Forum... Or can be read in Tapatalk or have a mobile version when viewing the Forum on a phone.

IBoats can be read in Safari in a mobile version and that makes it easier to read!... As big as RV.Net is, it would be nice if the Forum had a mobile version!

Carry on! :B

Hard enough to do on an iPad let alone a little phone. I'm a conventional typer and this hunt and peck is a PITA.

There is currently nothing similar to Swype for the iPhone although the new iOS 8 will support 3rd party keyboards so there probably will be soon.

Hi there.
Check out the accessibility options of your phone. Mine, for instance, has an option to "improve accessibility for users who have impaired vision, hearing or reduced dexterity".
There are apps out there that are definite improvements on the factory installed keyboards of mobile devices. I use SwiftKey and swipe with just one finger. The predictive word of swiftkey is very good. If swiping isn't your thing, holding the phone sideways creates a large keyboard with letters big enough for even the stubbiest of fingers.
I have a Galaxy S3, btw.

For fat finger syndrome, (from which I also suffer), Swype is your friend!

You can tell the posts I use my iphone for. ๐Ÿ™‚ The auto corrections can sometimes be a little embarrasing. I'm proofreading a little more carefully lately. Posting pictures from flicker is tough with the iphone. Cutting and pasting the URL is tougher.

Using the larger screen TABLET helps me big time hehe... I too have FAT FINGERS.

I also carry my DELL M90 LAPTOP with me on all trips and this is interfacaed to a keyboard, speakers, and large screen monitor using the DELL Replicator Docking Station... Same setup at home - just pull the laptop and head for the open roads. I normally do all of my RV NET and other net activities posting from this setup when on the road. Just LIKE HOME hehe...

My VERIZON MIFI setup creates a WIFI HOT SPOT for all of my WIFI enabled devices we have with us on our trips.

The only problems we regularly run into is responding to our emails. We can receive emails normal by just opening up MS OUTLOOK. We have to log into our email providers however to SEND emails which is no big deal - just something else you have to do to make it work.

This is usually where I am just after supper while momabear is watching HDTV. I'm in the corner catching up on my internet connections...

I read these forums on my phone, but very, very seldom post from there. My fat fingers just can't type on that itty-bitty screen. Nope, there's not an easy way. BUT ... I am a software tester and I test a specific web site, and the wave of the future ... and the future is here ... is going "mobile". I have to test on the mobile devices ... I absolutely hate that part of the process! and my application is a pretty straight forward app. Still ... no easy way!

No easier way on the phone that I'm aware of. That said, I use my phone for 99% of my posts, including this one. It is a pain sometimes, but I've gotten used to it. I'm addicted.
