Question for a Firefox geek!

I use Firefox on my Mac and it worked beautifully for everything until I did that Maverick upgrade on the Mac. Now there are a couple of webcams that i'm getting "Video Format or MIME type not supported." I'v updated all the plug ins and add ons. They still work on Chrome and Safari.

Any ideas what I need to do? (other than simply switch to Safari full time.)

Thanks for the suggestions. I have the Flip4Mac add on already installed. It is the Mac version of Windows Media Player. Its confusing in that it works fine for Safari and Chrome.

You need to go into Firefox>Preferences or Command+,(comma) and select Applications. Find the file type for your webcam, and select what media player should be used to display the file in Firefox? Quicktime or VLC?
