What is the best app for finding RV Campgrounds?
Is the KOA app worthwhile?
I see Woodals have an app, and there is an app listing free camping at various Walmarts.

How do they compete? Do either one make any money at all? I thought they were both voluntary type websites. I like parky on my phone but i usually to to rvparkreview for the reviews and ratings. It will take a long time for rvparky to get where rvparkreview is.

I think you are confusing rvparkreviews with TripAdvisor. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have to agree with that, I have not found anything useful on that site. At least in the areas that I want to camp at.

Why would rvparkreviews want to allow this? They are competitors, not partners. RVParky does so many things that rvparkreviews does not / cannot that it like comparing Apple and Microsoft. If you want to make RVParky better, post your review of your latest visit! If you are a fan of rvparkreviews you will never be able to find out what parks are available where you need to go. You will know who is mad at what park in that area but not much more.

RV Parky works great. Constantly being updated. Some make a contribution but it is free to all.
I still wish the rvparky owner could see about importing the data base comments from rvparkreviews.

KOA is outrageous with their high prices and over abundance of RV park rules!!

But when a KOA is the only viable option where you want to be, the app is a very handy tool...

X3 means 3 times

X3 for RVParky! You should also join Passport America and use that to find cost saving campgrounds along your travels. I use KOA when I must but only when I must.

As you all post, and very helpful too, I am installing all you have suggested.
Not sure what "X2" is!

Thankyou, now I will not get lost.

X2 for RVParky. I also have the Good Sam, KOA, and Passport America apps installed.

I do not know about the KOA app, I will not stay at KOA since they prohibit my malamute dog.

The AllStays Pro app is useful for finding Walmarts and dump stations, iffy on campgrounds. It knows about some but many aren't on the list too, not sure where they get their data from.
