TV swing out mount - Which wall can support

Can Interior walls take the weight of a swing out 24" TV?
where can i hang it or is just a bad idea and use the counter.

Which wall can support?

All of them, BUT.. You need to find the studs and lag into them

Most RV walls have nice solid studs, may be wood or metal depending on RV, which can hold a whole lot, and nice paper thing panelling between the studs which woudl be hard pressed to hold anything.

So find the stud.

I'm about to do that in a house Need to swing a chandler (We are all done with the FanDangle, now it's the light dangle) Step one (Buy hardware) finished,, Sept two Find stud, Step 3 drill pilot hole to insure in stud,, Screw up hook, hand chandler, Plug in to existing lamp socket using adapter.

thanks! I like the photos and I like suggestions. The back board may be the solution. I will take a pic as the project takes shape.

I used a back board but I put it on the back side of the wall (in the closet).

What most of us do is use a backboard across the wall to spread out the weight...

I use a 3/4-inch board and have it painted to match the decor of the room.

Once the backboard is in place then you can just use regular screws into it to support the bigger TV

If the backboard doesnt tie into something thicker then you can use what they call MOLLY BOLTS to secure the backboard in place...
