We stayed in Panguitch at the Hitchin' Post nice park super owners and the cleanest facilities we have seen. From there we did, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Bryce, Red Rocks and Kodachrome basin.
Loved it we will go back.

Theres also a KOA and an RV park with FHU in Panguitch, 8-10 miles away.. Somewhat cheaper, plus its a cute little town with an ice cream place!

There's a KOA in Cannonville about 10 miles from Bryce. OK if you need FHU.

X2

X3 There are smaller rv parks on the way in to the park but are seasonal and appeared less accommodating than Ruby's.

I stayed in the National Park, North campground, in a 32-foot fifth wheel. I recall a pleasant campsite among the Ponderosa pines. No electric, but daytime temperature was not too hot at that altitude. I did run generator to cool unit off on first arrival and in the mornings to take the chill off.

We stayed at Ruby's last month. While it's very convenient, I wouldn't put it in the nice category. Most of the sites are very close together, none of the park is paved, and a lot of the sites are very un-level. Ours was sloped so much that the trailer tongue was maybe 1 foot off the ground. But having said that, I wouldn't have a problem staying there again. It does have full hookups and is so convenient to Bryce, which is why we stayed there.
