Kitchen faucet replace

I am going to replace my kitchen single handle faucet.
Problem is, it is center kitchen and not enough space to get a basin wrench between sink and wall. Do they make a tool for this or do I have to remove the sink, install new faucet then replace sink.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I may have you beat. I paid an RV tech to contort their back while I kicked back and enjoyed beverages. The price included adding shutoffs.

Disconnect the drain pipe at some point, probably at the p-trap is easiest. The faucets are not mounted on the sink in my case.

Undo the nuts holding the sink in place. As I remember, there were 6.

Lift the sink out. You will have to break the seal between the sink and the counter top. If it's a double sink be careful not to bend it between the two sinks.

Good luck!

When I replaced the kitchen faucet I removed the sink. I couldn't get at anything with the sink in place. Removing and replacing the sink was easy and I could see what I was doing.

I replaced our kitchen (and bath) sink with residential faucet.

I really hate laying on my back scrunched up, dropping tools on my head, getting debris in my eyes and trying to fold my arms/hands just the right way.

So I always just disconnect hot/cold hoses, drain pipe and pull the sink with faucet still attached completely out.
Turn it upside down......remove faucet.....clean off old caulking/butyl tape...install new faucet.......lay down some new butyl tape......install sink....connect lines.

So much easier and most times quicker.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

I ran into the same situation this summer. I fretted over how I would get a wrench on the large nut that holds the faucet on the basin. I got a mirror and a light and found there was 3 bolts thru the flange of the nut. A 1/4 in nut driver to loosen them and the nut was loose and I did the whole job with that nut driver. I would guess all RV's have tight quarters under the sinks and might be the same set up. Just a suggestion to check out!

If you can't get a basin wrench in, I wouldn't know of a better tool to use. Sounds like a sink removal and replace is required.
