Adjustable Hitch Ball

I have a Reese drop hitch stinger, holes are on one inch centers. Can anyone tell me where I can get a ball mount that is just for a ball and no stabilizer rods. Just towing a boat but need to adjust the ball level when the weight is out of the truck bed.

I give up, tried to explain that I am only looking for the ball mount, not a complete adjustable hitch. Thought posting in the towing forum might help but does not look like it will. I suppose if I had posted a pic it would have been clearer than just words, that worth a thousand words thing. Thanks anyway, Reese got back to me with a phone number. It was a strange email that gave me the number of customer service then warned me not to attach a chain or strap to the stinger for towing. I have no idea how they got the idea I would be doing that.

Go with the B&W Tow N Stow, with the tri ball. Only buy it once, great quality.

I have a Diversi-tech hitch. Its costly but has internal locks, 2" and 2 5/16" balls. Its very handy for multiple trailers.

It seems I wasn't clear about what I am searching for. Let me describe. The type of adjustable hitch I am looking for has four main parts, five if you count the ball. First the biggest, a L shaped stinger that has a series of closely spaced holes in the long part of the L. Second, two pins with clips to secure them which allow the ball mount to be moved up and down to adjust the height of the ball. And third, a ball mount that has two holes in the ears, or what ever you call them instead of ears which allow you to secure the mount with the pins at the height selected. All I am looking for is the moveable ball mount.

The key factor of the ball mount is distance between the ears so as to fit the Reese stinger and the spacing of the holes in the mount so as to match up with the one inch center to center spacing of the holes in the stinger. The holes in the stinger at first glance seem to be on one inch centers but looking closer appear to be on 15/16 centers. The holes are 3/4 inch. The distance between the ears would need to fit a two inch stinger drop arm.

I think I have already looked at most of the suggested items but looked again. So my next move is to email etrailer for the dimensions of the one item they carry that looks like it will work. Once again I am not looking for a mount with load bar holes, just one that will mount a two inch ball. I am just pulling a 20 foot boat but when I unload the TC the bed height changes quite a bit and I have to change out to a deeper drop stinger, extra thing to remember to carry and use.

Yes I could just purchase a complete unit but I already have the Reese stinger which stays one the truck to limit rear truck damage from a distracted damage. And hopefully cause severe damage to the offending vehicle.

The last thing is the Reese stinger number, 54917.

Edit: it appears that Hidden Hitch part number 80418 might work, depends on the small difference in pin hole center to center dimension. A phone call is in order.

They have at least a hundred different adjustable ball mounts.

etrailer does sell what I am looking for, just depends on the hole spacing and the inside dimension between the ears. Just a phone call or email away.
