Anybody see anything wrong here for my water hookups?

Wanted it to be easier, so now I can connect a single hose under the vehicle (I have a short hose that I bungeed up to the bottom, going to insulate it later). When I need city, I just flip the lever. When I need fresh water, I flip it's nozzle. When I want to rinse the black, I flip its nozzle.

I read and the black is supposed to have a backflow preventer on it already. Would like to confirm on that.

For the black rinse though, I turn it on while the water is running, and then I turn it off while the water is running, so it should effectively cut off the flow from the rest of the system.

Any concerns or any ways to improve? Is there a device for this already that I am missing that will make it easier (an app from my smartphone?? :)).http://imgur.com/AEwBNtY

x2 on that.

Yep, Gotta agree with that right there. Other than that it looks good! All the water IN needs are just a simple operation! Great idea..

I prefer to "pack my own parachute" when it comes to black tank rinsing. I probably am going to make a 1-2 foot length of hose with a vacuum breaker/check valve on it, which will ensure no foul water gets out, even if the tank valve fails.

Right now, I have a dedicated hose for my macerator pump's rinser, but it is a tad long, so to save space, I'm going to build a hose that is shorter, so I can just use a FW hose with it.

Personally, I like keeping the black tank rinser separated... and never connected unless I am physically there. That way, this minimizes the chance for accidents to happen.

Sounds to me like you are just complicating things !

I would imagine the black tank rinser has a check valve, but I'm not sure I'd fully trust it.

I'd also cap that unused nozzle, if it inadvertently opens, even a little, you could have a mess!
