Called my dealer and wanted to take advantage of an extended service plan, Cornerstone, they offered at date of purchase last year. To my surprise he said that there was a rate increase in April of 40%.
So now looking for a plan.
Any suggestions?

Save your money. If you're financing it then add up the total amount over the loan. If you are getting a loan for 10-15 years and financing, say $2500 for the extended warranty the you will pay more than $2500 over the loan as well as the actual extended warranty will expire and you're still paying for it on the loan. If your paying cash for it then why not just put it in the bank and wait for something to happen. Lot's of items on an RV are covered longer than the RV it's self. Like the roof for 12yrs, Some appliances are covered for longer than the standard 1 year warranty. You might also do some serious research and find one of the better RV's that has fewer problems. Like they say "you need to be rich or handy" if you own an RV. Which ever one you are then that's the way you should go.

I have been very happy with Wholesalewarranties.net
They are agents for an assortment of plans, and act as your agent if you have a claim. I have had two claims with my current plan (frig cooling unit replaced and Hydraulic jack motor and springs replaced) and I am pleased with the service and outcome.
