Femal power plug cap for power cords

I have not been able to find a protective plug cap for either 30 amp or 50 amp power cords. The cap would protect the prongs from damage when winding up the cord as it drags on the ground/cemnt/rocks etc. There may also be a need to protect the opposite end from getting dirt, etc., in it.

Hi,

Walmart. Two of the (useless) one piece adapters. In a pinch you could use them for running low loads.

If you really really want to plug the shore power cable into a protective thing just pick up a couple of these small ROUND RV30A/50A to 15A adapters.

Use the dremal tool and cut off the 120VAC side pronges then fill in with rubber compound.

The sock idea isnt all that bad as well haha...

Leave the cord connected while you roll it up from the other. Just a thought though I don't see any way it would be damaged that way.
