Fire escape screen

We have a fire escape window approx 20 X 20. It pushes open at the bottom. There is no screen. I really want the fresh air.

I use a small (refrig) tension rod to hold the window open. I sewed screen onto a tension sun reflector. It is a little longer than the window. It works using double stick and painters tape on the edges.
I must be able to reach behind to place the tension rod.

It works, but I would like it to look better. Does anyone know of another screen that is easy to remove yet snap into place?

The fire escape window is too small for 'some' of us to fit through anyway. But, it would be easy to remove the screen and get out for the thinner person.

Any ideas welcome.

I'm guessing you're talking about the 20"x27" window that hinges from the bottom. Your best bet is probably going to be an RV salvage yard.
