good make of tow dolly?

Not applicable
Looking to tow with a dolly for a 2013 honda accord. Any suggestions of what make to look for or stay away from? I am also looking at used ones.
Do most come with surge brakes? I know this is better and usually recommended
thanks

I used a Stehl tow dolly for 3 years. I was happy with it. It had electric brakes.

I used a Car Tow dolly by Forest River w/electric brakes to tow our 96 RAV4 for several years with no problems.

Another dolly Master Tow would be equivalent. http://www.mastertow.com/tow_dollies.html

I preferred electric brakes as I also pull an enclosed car trailer that has electric brakes.

Iโ€™ve really liked my Demco KarKaddy SS. Iโ€™ve had it for 8.5 years & pulled it for almost 50,000 miles in all kinds of terrain. It's fully galvanized so never a rust problem. It has surge brakes so no expense for brake controller and can then be used with any towing vehicle. When not in use the tongue folds back & the ramps fold up reducing storage space by almost 50%.

Their customer service is excellent. Six years ago when I hear that they had a new pressure spring that improved their surge brake, I called them and they sent me one free. When I needed a tire, they said, โ€œThey could send me one but it is a standard tire and I could get it anywhereโ€.

Their suggested retail is a bit higher than others but if you Google โ€œKarKaddy SSโ€ youโ€™ll find them available for substantially less.

We have a West Texas Dolly we bought used with surge brakes. Paid $600 for it 3 years ago, they are out of business now, probably from making too good a unit for the price!
We have pulled our 323i BMW vert for around 15K miles with no issues.

I also was shopping for a dolly. I looked at them all ...needed to tow a 2013 prius...allmost bought an acme after reading all the posts about it. I found a company "American Car Dooly" on craigs list selling a new dolly for $1340 delivered with electric brakes. I went ahead and bought one...it was delivered the next day. It was easy to load and tie down the car. I towed the Prius on a 2000 mile trip for 34 days with no issues. I am very happy with the purchase.
Take a look at www.americancardolly.com or call 888-281-4391 and talk to the owner
