Holy Schmoly! That was a LOT of work!!

Starting at the Motorhome and working my way back...

1. installed the dash light for the ReadyBrake system
2. 4 inch drop receiver
3. Ready Brake into drop receiver and set up in the Cruze (this was a PITA!!)
4. Blue OX Alpha Tow bar
5. Blue OX Base Plate (another HUGE PITA!)
6. Blue OX 7 to 4 pin umbilical cord
7. Blue Ox Tail Light kit (adding the bulbs to the taillight housing)

Total of about 10 hours (broken up over a couple of days).

Took it for a drag... it tows great!! ALl the lights work... the brakes work! The brakes DO NOT activate when the MH Engine Brake slows the coach.

I got a couple of quotes of >$3k to have it all installed. I did it all myself for $1200.

Time for a beer.. or 6.

Yes... It is a six speed standard transmission. We traded out auto Subaru for the Cruze.

Like the car so far... 35 mpg average... Quiet anc comfortable for a family of 4!

I thought a Cruze could not be towed 4-down...
