Hauling Kayaks and bikes on an RV ideas.

Hello all

I have two 26" bikes with 4 stroke motor conversion kits on them and 2 kayaks I'd like to carry on my 5er bumper. The bikes have oil in the crank cases and need to be hauled level.

Does anyone else haul this arrangement? How do you do it? I've got a few ideas, I'd like to hear some out of the box solutions. Any ideas and suggestions are appropriated.

thanks

Kevin

Your 5erโ€™s manufacturer says the maximum weight that this bumper can carry is?

P.S. - Quality bicycles are not carried on RV back bumpers.

Pin box bike mount. Bikes do not bounce. Mine hang from the frame. And they are pulled slightly backward with bungees. But a bike rack with the wheel supports would hold them more level.

LOL!
Saw a TH pull into the park just the other day with bikes on a rear mounted bike rack! :S
Maybe they just had too many toys!

How much does the 2 cycle conversion add to the bikes weight?

Kayaks are hauled on the roof of the truck using a Thule roof rack and J supports. Bikes are carried on the front of the truck with a Curt front mount hitch and a Swagman XC2 bike rack. Everything is solid and I can see it while traveling. Put your toys behind your FW and you'll never known the disappeared until you stop.
