Hubby went crazy!

YuP! He went and painted our Mega Cab to match the toyhauler.

At first I was NO WAY---then I realized he wanted it so badly, had the bucks to pay cash for the job and at that point, I let him have at it ๐Ÿ™‚

CRAZY to the max but he is thrilled with it. I am kinda on the fence about it, but hey, it is only a paint job so why not just enjoy it and have fun with it, right?? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Should have ask him if he could have panted the trailer to match the truck.

But it still looks cool.

Kinda cool. Looks like a shadow until there's no trailer. Then it just looks weird.

If he and you are happy so be it. I thought I was really into my camping rig/experience. Nevertheless painting the truck to match the trailer never remotely crossed my mind and I imagine it never will.
Two tone paint jobs with swooshes and decals look fine on a RV trailer and maybe a Nascar. But on a truck, I see it as the definition of tacky!
But if your DH is happy with it and you are having fun with it,than enjoy it.
Some of us naysayers are just stiff and boring anyway!

Totally understandable.
That's why it's called "customization". If it were painted the way everybody else wanted, it wouldn't be his.
Having said that, just because you can doesn't mean you should.
It'll be an awesome farm truck, one day.

LOL yea I don't know what to think either.

hubby is in heaven, he 'gets' it and enjoys it.

Me, hmmmm. but eh.

when it is attached to the trailer it makes sense.
when it is out in a parking lot by itself, the paint job just seems weird with no purpose.

oh well....just a truck and some paint. no biggie in the end

Weird with no purpose... Most men probably fit that description one way or another. :B
I bet he stands out in a room full of people too.
If he wears a shirts that looks like that truck he does. :B Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Kudos for having the #alls to do it. Personally I don't like the brown and red together and would not have done it but its not my truck ๐Ÿ™‚

Why - he will paint the TT to match the TV!
