Not really, if she's hitting things in a big vehicle then her ability to judge distances is not at its best. Why would putting her in a smaller vehicle improve her vision and ability? It won't make her a better driver, just lessen the damage she does and the frequency.
There is something that happens to men that is never mentioned in these RV forums, but IMO is associated with this subject (aging). IMO too many male senior citizens/RVers don't get enough sleep due to a condition that makes one wake up 2 or 3 times at night. IMO that's when the aging process seems to speed up. You gotta watch that! Oh, and BTW, have any of you old geezers heard about the UroLift procedure?

Guess I'm one of the older ones...78 in 2 days and I'm no where near ready to quit pulling a trailer. I honestly feel I'm very capable and alert. Planning a 6000 mile trip next summer. Sure I may not be willing to drive 400 miles a day...200 is closer to it...but those are wonderful days.

Spend part of the summer in Montana with the fifth wheel ,this year was our 15th year at the same rv park on the Madison river .
The first person we met 15 years ago was a gentlemen and his wife , his wife has since passed away ,but he still tows his 35 foot Avion trailer from Indio, Ca. We celebrated his 91st birthday and the 40th year on the same rv site this summer.
I have ridden with him several times over the years in Montana and California where he lives. Not a problem with him yet at 91 driving , maybe 92 ?

At 74, I am still planning to drag a travel trailer several thousand miles a year. I have arbitrarily set my goal at age 78. In four years, I hope to adjust that to 82.
