I am looking at getting and inverter style generator for when we boondock, don't do a whole lot of it but nice to have everything work.
I was looking at some and come across at Home Depot the Lipan brand, reviews were all good and price pretty good, 3 yr warranty also, question is does anyone else use one of these?

Good place to search and/or ask is the *Tech Issues* Forum (here).

You will find just about anything and everything "generator" there.

The model with 'i' includes an inverter function and will be quieter and lighter. That said, go for a Champion inverter, either 2000 or 3100. The larger will run your A/C.

Advise first you check on where you would get repairs under warranty or not. If there is a local service facility that would be good. HD in my area does not have a repair shop. After my experience with them on a chainsaw ( long story ) I have vowed to never buy anything from them that cranks. I know nothing about the genny.

I've never heard of them but, Home Depot has a selection online.

I see a couple of LIFAN (NOT LIPAN) generators at HomeDepot on google.
