Maybe putting up a sign, no mice permitted on premises?

I might try peppermint oil this year. Seems like a better smell than Irish Springs.
Maybe there are no mice to begin with?

You will never convince people that these things don't work, though...

I accidentally left a few empty beer cans in the camper last year, and there were no mice.... hmmm...

What I said was this was the first spring I did not see signs of Mice - so, in the past, I had signs of mice. I also get mice under my house often and use a variety of traps and such. I live on a farm with hay and horses, so I have mice, just not in my trailer.

Not sure why it worked or if it worked, but I'll keep doing it as long as I don't see mice trails and turds... Just saying...

This year was the first year I didn't have a couple of mice in the glue trap. I sprayed the bottom of the trailer with a product called Mouse Proof made in Canada. Anything that contacted the ground was sprayed with it. You need a air compressor and spray gun to apply the product. Not cheap either but as a cartoon use to say "I hate meeces to pieces".

A RVer that also owns a farm told me about it last year. The stuff looks like snot/slime and they can't get traction to climb. This will be the second winter I have used it, will see how it does next spring. I still have a plethora of glue traps throughout the RV.

It's funny all the wives tales about stuff that don't work but still people perpetuate it.

Mice ate half a can of toilet treatment, bet they don't stink now!

we use the peppermint on cotton balls, but this past september, we caught two of the little buggers with glue traps. so nothing works perfectly.

cavie, we couldโ€™ve taken that photo ourselves.....we had exactly the same thing happen. Two years ago, my wife started using little vented, plastic, condiment containers holding cotton balls with โ€œ peppermint essential oilsโ€. We placed these around throughout both our 5th wheel and our little class c.....so far weโ€™ve been โ€œmouse freeโ€! I still have โ€œsticky trapsโ€ placed around...but , havenโ€™t caught a mouse in quite some time. memtb

What about the cinnamon oil on cotton ball thing, does it work?

It may not be good for mice but, it's good for Irish Spring sales. ๐Ÿ™‚

You can't tell people that, though... They leave a bar in the TT, no mice show up, and they insist it's proof positive that the stuff works.

Just like the essential oil true believers...
