I have a 2013 View on ayMercedes Chassis with LED brake/tail lights with a 7 pin plug. When testing with a 12 volt tester like this I get no light on the left blinker blade and no brake light on either the left or the right side.

Mt toad is a 1996 Geo Tracker that has separate running/brake and turn signals with a 4 pin plug (it was wired this way when I bought it) and I am assuming when plugged in to a MH it only uses the running/brake light for all the functions (running/brake/turn) and is NOT using the turn signal.

I bought a 7 pin to 4 pin cord but when I plug it in nothing works on my toad. Do I need to do something special because of my MH being ALL LED's?

Thanks LeeB

I have a 4 wire connector for my toad. The wires are left turn (yellow), right turn (green), brake (brown), and common (white). I don't know if this is a standard color code. You might check the toad end of the cable with your test light.

Yes without the TOAD connected everything works good.
I'll look to see if I can find the Black box..
I still have some searching to do and try and find the correct fuses

If everything works without toad then fuse or broken wire to connector.

One thing you might want to check once you get everything working ,is the size of wiring, led's can use very small guage wire and may not be enough to run an incandescant bulb. Dont know for sure.

Me thinks you have separate fuses for the 7 pin plug, they may be in a
black 4"x4" box near the passenger side rear wheels?

When toad isn't connected do turn signals on both sides front & back work ok?

LED lights are 12v same as regular bulbs. That should't be the problem.
