Well just when you think you have seen it all you read something like this. :R
https://www.dailycommercial.com/news/20190125/dismembered-body-found-in-sumter-womans-trailer

Here are 2 Florida destination CG's you might just want to take a second look at before reserving.

August- Woman staying at RV Village On Lake Panasoffkee, Florida murders her boyfriend and dismembered him and kept him in her TT.
Neighbors complained of a foul odor so she moved the TT to another CG.

September- She then moves the TT to Wickham Park CG on the Space Coast.
Where neighbors there also start to complain of a foul odor.

December- Which at that point the police get involved and got a search warrant based on a well being check. During the search, officers found Mitchellโ€™s dismembered body in the โ€œadvanced stages of decomposition,โ€ the press release said, dismembered in the trailer. They determined he died in August so she was living with the remains in the RV for three months!

January - A Sumter County woman is arrested and charged with murder after authorities found her missing boyfriendโ€™s dismembered body in the coupleโ€™s travel trailer.

Both of these CG's are destination CG's for RV'ers and Snowbirds.
Here are the links for both CG's.

And a police report link to Wickham Park CG police reports and during surveillance a notice of all the homeless/drugs in the tenting section situated right next to Class A parking section. And how many calls for the police there are at this CG.
You might want to review this before you reserve at this CG.

It sounds like the real risk is dating women who live in RVโ€™s....... ๐Ÿ˜‰

My wife is a clean freak so i can rest assured she would roll my corpse out somewhere discreetly... hopefully she might even bury me but that might be pushing my luck ๐Ÿ™‚

I am an LEO, crime has no boundaries financial or other wise. To single out two campgrounds seems unfair and possibly uninformed about what all goes on around all of us everyday from sea to shining sea.

The good news is someone's going to get a great deal on a gently used trailer.

Mythbusters did a segment on selling a car after a dead body had decomposed in it...wonder if same results reselling the RV...better than mold I suppose. LoL

Some of you guys are SICK!!!! I love it. Quite often, dark humor is a wonderful way to shake off the creepies one might encounter. Good comments.

She must never have watched breaking bad. One drum and caustic solution then add the body then cover with a plant and doily.

Those campgrounds now have some great new ghost stories for around the campfire. They could even try raising the lot rent for the affected sites, some would pay extra for the "Ambience".

If the murder occurred in the trailer, wouldn't the trailer be haunted and not the campgrounds if one believes that sort of nonsense?

Why bash an RV park over something they had nothing to do with? Murders occur everywhere.

True. After all they were proactive by making her move her smelly trailer.

Just another boyfriend-Girlfriend fight/murder. They happen in campgrounds. Trailer parks. Apartments. Condos. Stand alone houses. _________.

Nothing to be concerned about so long as you are not either the boyfriend or girlfriend.

Right. One event does not make a trend. But it does bear watching should other events occur.

Just because Johnny-bad-boy (or Sally-bad-girl in this case) gets caught doing one crime, does not mean other crimes were not committed. A criminal element that will commit murder will think nothing of committing lesser crimes. It is not a big stretch to tie things together if random things had been disappearing around the campgrounds, only to turn up at a metal recycler or pawn shop.

This one event is just something to file away and make note of should there be future events at these campgrounds.

It's actually the opposite that is true. In prisons, prisoners convicted of domestic homicides are often made trustees, because the crime is committed in a moment of extreme passion. They are almost never career criminal types. In this instance, committing a murder and then keeping the body in your abode while it rots is pretty much a sign of mental disease, not criminal recidivism.

Sure sign that she really did care about the guy, wanted to keep him, and wouldn't have felt right to just dispose of him.

My wife and I have stayed at Wickham park a number of times. We stay there for the easy (walking) access to the performing arts center on the campus of East Florida State College, which is right next to the campground. We have never had or heard of any problems during the times we have been there, although we have seen what I assumed were homeless people staying there.

We are now camping at another Brevard County Park (Long Point). It's a nice campground, particularly if you have a boat since many of the sites are right on the water with boat access. We got here yesterday but had plenty of rain and winds. Today was windy and cool. Haven't even put the boat in the water yet. I spent part of the day today getting a flat tire on my boat trailer fixed. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Works the other way around too.. Troopers were sent to a Trailer Park in I think the Groveland Twp MI area... A car with a "Funky smell" I wound up doing the only Phone Patch the dispatch center ever did.. Trooper to corner. her boyfriend was guilty.

The center has the ability to connect (Patch) the radios to a standard phone line. 2 or 3 of us actually knew how.. I retired.
