Wait a few days and the cold that is just west of you will arrive. High for Tampa on Thursday is predicted to be 49. The same day prediction for deep south Texas is 72.

Yesterday it was in the 80's in South Texas...... a few hours later in the 50's.

All in al a lot better than home where it just bottomed out at 4 below.
