Need Help With Determining Weight Numbers

Truck and Trailer together: 21,540 lbs
Truck only: With Hitch attached: 8,060 lbs (GVWR) 11,400 lbs
Trailer at rear axles: 10,240 lbs
Front GAWR: 5,700 lbs
Rear GAWR: 7,000 lbs
I wasn't able to get the vendor to weigh my axles individually and/or my hitch weight as well.
So this is what I got on my own:
Hitch wt: 3,240 lbs
Total wt of trailer: 13,480 lbs
Is my math right?

I weighed myself at a public truck scale in town that told me they weren't able to help me with weighing my hitch weight and axle weights individually. I plan to go to our local CAT scale the next time for comparison. However, with the numbers I was able to get this is what I got for my hitch weight and total trailer weight.

No. It's a Ford 6.0, therefore it's a diesel.

Tires are Load E and rated to 3750 lbs each at 65 psi.

What is the load range on your 35's and what is the max carrying capacity? If D's you most likely will have a very bouncy ride and potential tire failure.

It weighed empty with no water and no fuel. I do not have toys (UTV/ATV) I do not plan to purchase or have. I have a jeep that my wife drives to our local off road area. I am only 5-6 miles from Superstition Mountains and 1/2 hr drive to Glamis. It's only my wife and I and our kids stay behind. I'll be carrying water weight and fuel weight along with whatever we pack (food, water). When I tow it for getaway trips I do so with no water or fuel. Only propane tanks full and whatever food and/or cargo we take which isn't much. When I posted this thread I did make sure the "append signature" box was checked! Don't know why it didn't transfer over.

So it's a gas motor. 2wd or 4x4? Trk GVW is around 11,200 +/-, Max combo is 23K Am I right? From what I see w/ your numbers, looks like you are around of trk GVW. CAT scale will tell you for sure exact axle weights for all axles.

Is the toyhauler loaded? What do you plan on carrying? You're right at the edge of your GVWR but depending on what you load, the weight on the truck may not change much, if any.

Looks right to me.

Total combined weight: 21,540
Trailer axles: 10,240
Truck: 8,060

Subtract unhitched truck, and trailer weight from the total weight leaves 3240 lbs. which is the weight that sits on the truck with the 5th wheel attached, i.e. hitch/pin weight.

FWIW that works out to 24 percent hitch weight, might be a bit high but don't know if this is a toyhauler or a standard 5th wheel or what.
