PDI help in Ohio

We are purchasing a new fifth wheel from RVW in Lakeview Ohio. As this is our first RV I would like to hire a private company to come out and help with the PDI. They would know a lot more about what to look for than I would and how all the systems are supposed to operate. Doe's anyone know of a good company in the area that would be able to do this? Thanks

I've bought from them twice now and been very happy both times. This trailer they had to fix a wiring issue with the brake lights on the trailer before I could leave. They were very professional and helpful, spent 2 hours fixing the issue, and didn't charge me a dime. (However, due to the extra time, I spent a few dimes in their store. 🙂 )

I'd use one of the online checklists. Do the pickup on Thursday or Friday, and then spend the weekend at Indian Lake State Park (a few minutes away from RVW). This will give you a chance to inspect and try out all of the systems, and go back to RVW right away if you find anything wrong.

Thanks gbopp. I was just wondering if anyone in the area could suggest a good one. Also any forum members in the area that may be able to help. A lot of experience here.

Check for a mobile RV Tech. They may do the PDI with/for you.
Call some local campgrounds. They probably have contacts for mobile techs.

I downloaded a detailed PDI list. Being our first RV most of it is Greek to me. I would maybe rather have someone experienced and knows what to look for along with me.

Take a video camera with you to record your PDI. Most reputable dealers will do a good job of inspecting and correcting issues before you ever arrive.
