Pullrite Superglide

For those that have the Supeglide, I'm about to get one. My question is, in the event of a TV breakdown or something similar, can the trailer be towed (through roadside assistance/towing) with the proprietary Superglide capture plate?

If not, how easy/difficult is it to remove? Has anyone had experience with this scenario?

Thanks in advance! (forum search yielded no results for this)

Thanks to all. I'm certainly moving forward with this hitch based upon the many, many glowing owner reviews (in addition to the fact that I've yet to come across a negative one). Thanks for the insight to the many options for mounting the plate and worse case, I'm glad they make an adapter so that if I'm ever stuck, I won't truly be.

Much appreciated.

X2... With that said.. Each spring I remove and make sure they are not rusted in place just in case they need to be removed on the road....

We have a MorRyde hitch box and a MorRyde capture plate. While it can be removed, it would take a while. We have an adapter sold by PulRite to allow others to pull the RV.
