Question on selling

We are trying to sell our Allegro Bay. Have ads in various places. But, we keep getting calls from people/companies wanting to sell it for us for a fee. Usually 200 to 500 dollars. They vary a bit in what they offer, but not much. Has anyone had any luck with these companies? It seems to me that once they have your money, they don't have much reason to do anything. Any comments would be welcome.

Thanks

"For Sale Ads" are fertile ground for scammers. They troll them daily.

Do not pay anything up front. Those folks are scammers.

gouda, are planing on down sizing? just asking... if you are, just trade it in and save your self the headache. I know you can get more money if you sell it your sell:W

No, we are not buying another at this time. My wife recently changed jobs and no longer can travel and work most anywhere like we have done in the past. We will buy another once she retires.

Scam Alert!! Scam Alert!!

Florida has put several such operations out of business.

Deal only with a company that takes a set percentage commission after the sale.

Percentage gets them to strive for best price.

After makes them work at it.

This has been brought up before and investigated.
They are scams to get your up front fee only.

If they want payment up front, they are scammers.

If they get paid after the sale they are usually okay.
