Has anyone have a Razar antenna made by Weingard? If so how well does it work?

One of these days I'll do a real test against a known working Batwing. Doubtful it will equal the Batwing but it will be interesting to see how close it comes.

The one negative I have seen is one broadside in a medium onshore breeze at the beach. The panel oscillated back and forth, violently at times until the owner stowed it. My Batwing hardly noticed...

I don't know if you are speaking about the cheap Razar flat panel antenna (~$70.00) or the high tech Razar automatic RV antenna ....

I've been flirting with going that direction as well. My KS Sprinter has a fixed antenna and isn't worth a crap. I bought a portable one at WalMart last year to watch the series when we were camping. I just move it around until I get a good signal. Wish I had my old batwing from my old trailer worked very good. Have to get something like the Rayzar since the new one doesn't crank and the ceiling is too high to put a crank style in. Haven't seen too many opinions on this unit until now.
Catch ya later!

I like it, as it is bi-directional. We get more channels because of it.

If you are referring to the manual flat Rayzar I have one and it works well. It's hard to tell how well sometimes because digital signals can be somewhat "iffy". But it works better than my 15 year old batwing, and better than the jack antenna it replaced. We mostly camp at remote state parks with lots of tress so there is always some issues. But we are pleased overall.
