The high cost of fuel is driving the price of everything up. I know it's making a big difference in my life. It's not that hard to figure out.

If you made 12 Billion$$$$$ in 3 months, would you try to get fuel prices down? well ask Exon/Mobile if they're going to.............NOT!!!!!!!!!!

Folks, the energy issue is just one part of, and perhaps a catalyst, of a much larger U.S. and somewhat World economic problem.
Many say we cannot continue to use or consume the current levels of energy. However, the real issue is we cannot continue to consume all our resources at the current rate.
The problem is, we have built our entire economy on consumption and two-thirds of our economy is dependant on consumption of goods and services.
Unfortunately, the excesses have started to catch up to reality and it's likely we have yet to see the base line of the problems. It's also likely we will never again see the same level of prosperity for the so-called "middle Class".
Now, factor in the current social and political climate and what you have is a total disaster waiting to happen. Those who have the power and standing to make a difference seem too indulged in their own social cocoons to see and influence the future. Such is why other great societies of the past failed.
