RV Washer?

Getting tired of the washer leaking all over me when I reach up high on the TC, -- tried several brands of 'hose-extenders' -- the kind with a wash pad on the end, but all leak.

SO, anyone know a good brand where the thing works like it should and doesn't wash ME too. Wouldn't mind so much if the water was a little warmer. Could take a bath and wash RV too, but it's right chilly coming out the hose end.

Rather than using one of those cheap extendable brushes why don't You make your own single piece brush handle out of aluminum or copper tubing! The fittings are all available in a Hardware store. Make the Tube about 8 feet long and You should be able to reach most anywhere. You will still get wet but at least it will only be coming from one or the other end,not 1/2 way up!

You can cover the tubing with a wrap of Tape to keep it from marking the RV.

I use a bucket of soapy water, brush on telescoping rod and hose to rinse. I too never found a "gadget" that worked as advertised except Mr. Clean washer and naturally, they quit making it.

I'm not talking about getting wet, so much as the "Leaking" -- they leaks out of all the joints, and sort of sprays all over -- so it's not the getting wet, it leaks down the shaft, down the connections, sprays out all in my eyes.

Getting wet, fine -- leaking all over so you can't get the job done - that's what I mean. I can't find a good quality extension that doesn't leak and spray out of EVERY fitting. I'm talking about the fittings not the over-spray ... seems like nothing we buy anymore is any kind of quality - not every one wants the 'cheapest' stuff out there, and save a dollar but spend it twice.

I never plan on staying dry when washing! Old cloths and likely do it just before a planed shower. I find it much easier to get it clean if I don't worry about getting wet.
To the OP real question, tough issue to fix, as the handle on the brush would need to be long enough that your hands would still be lower than your elbow and shoulder. It is the pits when clod water hits your arm pits!!!

Water runs downhill, so I think you'll just get wet. My best luck was with a brush on a telescoping pole, but still had water run down my arms.
