Thought I should share this little tidbit in case others were like me and never heard this song before. I only discovered it when a friend asked me to help her perform a particular part of it. Apparently it's been around for a few years.

Everyone on this forum can relate to the lyrics. Made me smile for sure.

KC Musgraves, "My House"

There are several youtube vids of it out there.

When I had the boat I would play CCR Proud Mary (Rolling on the river). Wife's name is Mary and it fit. Leaving the Marina I would put in the CD and crank it up. The RV it has to be Willys (On the road again).

Strange. I play and sing “California, here I come...”

California, here I come
Right back where I started from
Where bowers are flowers bloom in the spring
Each morning at dawning
Birdies sing and everything
A sun kissed miss said "Don't be late!"
That's why I can hardly wait,
Open up that Golden Gate!
California, here I come!

Ahh, my all time favorite is Bob Seger. Roll me Away.

Stood alone on a mountain top,
starin' out at the Great Divide

I could go east, I could go west,
it was all up to me to decide

Just then I saw a young hawk flyin'
and my soul began to rise
And pretty soon
My heart was singin'

Roll, roll me away,
I'm gonna roll me away tonight
Gotta keep rollin, gotta keep ridin',
keep searchin' till I find what's right

This song meant even more to me when I hit the road full-time.:C

Some RV folks might prefer Pat Pepin's "Living at Walmart". See/hear it on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Orn7xAEKov4

Our road song when we FTd was an old Willie Classic........'On The Road Again'

Travel day just as we were rolling away from camp site we would roll ALL truck windows down, crank radio UP and belt it out with Willie as we hit the road.
Dog would get into it by sticking her head out back window and bark/howl

Miss those days!!!

X2 for On The Road Again...

Ok Ok aside from the Koa comment....I thought it was pretty entertaining.

Besides, she did say "as long as I'm with you" so maybe Koa is only ok under certain circumstances? 🙂
