Schools around the US

Anybody know as a general rule if most schools around the US are back in business?

I'm hoping to miss the "on school break" crowd this year. Leaving this week. Going to be mostly in UT and Co if that makes a difference?

Some states schools do not start until after labor day weekend by law.

Schools in MA start next week.

Not all. My town doesn't start until the Wed after Labor Day.

Back when I'd camp in the summer, the school kids seemed to disappear the week before school started. Schools in MA start next week.

The variable here is year round school scheduling. In our area individual schools can be traditional or year round. There are alway little...uh darlings and their parents running around.

Some started 2 wks ago, some this week and others won't start until after Labor Day

OK schools mostly are in session now. I think the crowd will be diminished, but maybe not gone entirely.

Start dates vary widely. School start from now until just after Labor Day so some areas still have lots of families of last gasp vacations. You can check websites in an area you are interested in to find out for sure. Happy Trails

School starts locally here in our district in PA (not necessarily statewide) next Tuesday.

Most of my friends have kids in school (mid 30s). I've seen friends posting back to school pictures in CO, UT, TX, and CA. I haven't seen any in OR posted yet.
