short term cable contracts

We will be leaving our TT on a site in central FL for two months over the summer, using it on weekends.

Are there any suggestions on which packages to pick, or to watch out for?
We don't need more than local channels for news and weather, but won't get anything on the antenna.

Thanks everybody.
I got Comcast to give us a contract for $19 a month, 40 channels, no activation fee and I can cancel when we bring the TT home.
Thanks for all the replies.

having cable doesn't help you when traveling.
you have to go with a satellite tv contract.
either Dish or Direct.
i think Dish has a better plan for RV'ers.

That's weird.
I searched it by name, and got "no transmitters.
Went back and searched it by zip code, and got basically what you got.
Guess I'll find out for sure in about a day and a half.
I have to lean towards the zipcode search.
I printed that search out. Thank you.

Antenna point is what I use too.
It says zero transmitters within 60 miles.

I just put in Arcadia and got 20 stations within 60 miles.

Ditto! Get a dish and only turn it on on the weekends!! Then you have it when you go elsewhere.

I take DVDs along for when the CG doesn't have cable. I've watched the Godfather trilogy about 5 times. If you've never seen it, stop reading. (He dies at the end).

The park doesn't provide cable.
It's one of those " you can make arrangements with the cable CO." deals.
I'm sure the wiring is in place for all the seasonal residents.
Just, we have never done it, and don't want to get burned on "invisible fees" etc.

Is your antenna booster turned on? I find it hard to believe in fl you can't get anything. Try http://www.antennapoint.com/ and see what is around you.
