My barn points due south. The camper sits on the west side of the barn underneath a shelter. But that means as the sun starts to set in the afternoon, the side of the camper gets the full direct light until evening.

They make covers for tires so I'm not worried about that. But I would like to protect the side of the camper. But how? Does someone make something like a shade that could be used to protect the side of the camper?

I really don't want to buy a cover. During our racing season, we race every other weekend. I'm quite sure we won't use a cover too often since they can be such a hassle. Cover it one week, pull it off the next, repeat, repeat, repeat. In reality, that won't happen too often.

Here's how it sits this afternoon. Its around 6:00pm right now and the sun is beating the side. I need something like a 40' "curtain" that can be pulled down and rolled up as needed. But I may be wishing for too much here.

The distance between each pole of the barn is 10' (60' long). The Work & Play is about 36' long.

Someone makes shades fo such things. Those awning makers that sell manual and power roll out awnings for homes or RVs probably stock something.
Out west where Kids did live I noticed one guy made plywood cutouts to cover or shield the sun from the drivers side tires, of his pick up in driveway that driver's side faced west. The sun out there is mean.

Why don't you tack up a big sheet of uv spf50 fabric right up on those 6x6 posts?
They make shirts that protect skin, that would protect the RV and still breathe

I used some shade cloth for the same reason on another application but it works well and comes in different sizes and protection rates from 30 to 80 percent

Did you consider spraying the RV with 303 Protectant?
