Valterra valve cable question

Our kitchen waste pull cable broke last week. The crimp that held the cable behind the valve pull failed.

I had the same problem on my black water valve cable a few years back.

My question surrounds the Allen wrench size needed to attached the exposed cable to the valve itself. The last time, I did not have that size Allen wrench in my tool box. I had to solicited fellow campers and I finally found the tight size. I failed to write down that size.

Does anyone know the Allen wrench size to use on the Valterra cable fixture?

I would like to buy one, but I don't know the size. Any tips on cable replacement are welcomed.

Several years back I needed one for just the same thing and I think it was a 1/8"

There are two kinds of Allen wrenches, SAE and Metric. I'll bet the two you have are the same. Get the one you don't have.

I have two Allen wrench sets. Both sets did not have the needed size.

Why not purchase an entire Allen wrench set, not that expensive. If that won't work, I would go to the Valterra site and download the install manual. Maybe they indicate the size Allen wrench needed.
