What is still opened?
What is closed?

I was in N Ga and April 3rd at 6pm they were closing down. I saw signs (posted prior) that the AT was closed. Why? no idea, this is the ultimate social distancing activity.
The "Forest" was closed. Im not sure what that means. Many primitive campsites were posted closed with threats of $5,000 fines or a year in jail - for camping or parking in the middle of nowhere! The World has gone insane.

The trails were closed, but the Governor said going out to exercise was allowed. Since when did we lose our freedoms? Like 911, this too shall never pass.

If you see something opened, or closed, let us know the date and location.

For what it's worth, I heard on TV News this morning the Georgia Beaches are open. Not sure if they said still open, but thought they said reopened.
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

I think we should give the Comanche the freedom to leave Oklahoma and wander Texas as they once did. And we can leave Dallas Steve free to deal with them on his own.

“because they are afraid”

I’m not afraid, Dallas, and your actions...traveling...can kill others. You could be infected and not know it, and infecting others. Why is this concept so difficult for you to understand?

“Fear,” at the right level inspires soldiers to be very attentive, accurate, resourceful etc. No one sleeps when you hear a mortar coming in.

Lots of discussion but not much information.
The title of this thread is "What's Opened"

I know Lake Hartwell RV park, a small private park about 250/week. is open here in SC but Lake Hartwell State park 4 miles down the road is closed

This is the kind of info I want to see in a thread with this title

Some comments

Someone said "Waving the flag and citing the constitution won't help" TRUTH!

Someone else said, slightly paraphrased: You lost your freedom when it became a matter of life and death... Also true to some extent.

My comment: My Motor home is my "Isolation Unit" Save for a trip to the dumpster IN the CG I walk but in the other one I stay at here I'm likely to drive and in both cases I'll not get within 20 feet of another human or Feline) and grocery shopping where I can't control how close others pass to me.. I'm indoors.

Please, people done confuse freedoms with putting others in danger.
Americans are doing what is safe for themselves and others.
We can maintain the freedoms and maintain virus safety.

The freedoms you so willingly give up now will not be given back so easily.
This virus' ability to kill still pales in comparison to those who died to give us the freedoms we are so eager to give up now.
Putting the nation under house arrest will not make us free. Wash your hands and dont cough on people. The experts are saying it is close contact, not interstate travel that spreads it. An infected person will infect others by contact, or proxy contact. Closing a hiking trail or state park is not going to have an impact as closing a shopping mall or getting ppl to wash their hands.

My daughter works in a large hospital in southeastern Wisconsin. Her job has been changed from procedure assistant to whatever we need anywhere in the hospital, including the ICU. The ICU is overcrowded and the staff don't have enough personal protection equipment.
Your belief that you are not affecting anyone if you demand that you be allowed to do whatever you want is putting my daughter, her husband, and my grandchildren in danger. I am so tired of people demanding their personal freedom. I want my family to be alive when this is over. Your actions affect more people than you think.

"Yep, the people who want to tell everybody else what they can and can't do and take away their freedom because they are afraid. They've lost their compassion for other innocent people. And they've become all high and mighty and think they are making a great sacrifice for society. You're not responsible for my life and I'm not responsible for your life"
But you are responsible for my life if you become infected, don't know it, and I get it from you! "High and mighty" really doesn't explain the need for all of us to be aware and safe. We all have the same rights, but nowhere among them is absolute freedom. That only exists when no one else is around nor involved in any way with a person's existence.
Please show me where, in any DEclaration of Independence or Constitution, our citizen are entitled absolute freedom? Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness. Doesn't say absolute anywhere. The Constitution says "We the People", not "Me, Myself".

Waving the flag and shouting about the Constitution won’t protect you from the virus, Dallas.

"The Greatest Generation would be appalled."

Yeah and perhaps a few weeks of a little sacrifice will help save those few remaining Great Generation that served much longer than a few weeks!

Time for all to get out of the wagon and start pulling instead of sitting inside whining about things.

You lost your "freedom" when the rest of us decided we wanted to live. Staying in your home restricts the chances of spreading this virus, plain and simple.

So true. This was once "the land of the free and the home of the brave". Now it is neither.

Anyway, to the original poster, I'm convinced other businesses are shutting down because they see their neighbors sleeping in late and shopping at Walmart during the day and they want their vacation, I mean "social distancing", too.

The Greatest Generation would be appalled.

The Greatest Generation would be first and foremost for the restrictions. The sacrifices we are being forced into don't even begin to compare to those that generation had to endure.
