Why not to buy used.

I know there are MANY on her who say. NEVER buy new, always buy used RVs. Myself. I always buy new, and here is an example why.

This week we were camping beside a man who had just bought a used 2015 TT. Over the course of the trip. He found out the toilet had been frozen, and had to be repaired. Then the water heater would not work, and the fresh tank was missing the plug. the list goes on.
Best thing about his trip is that he lived close by. So he didn't have to stay in a unusable TT. As soon as he fixed one thing. He found another. Didn't get to stay even one night at the CG.

That boys and girls. Is why I always suggest you buy new.

New is fine with me.

If the guy would have just checked those things out before buying, he could have told the seller to fix it all before buying..

Then, even after buying it with all those problems, what did he do, take it directly from the sellers driveway to the camp ground?

I'm still on the buy new side of the fence... Not for the 'warranty', but for the fact that at least it's new.. Nothing wrong with buying used.. I looked at many before buying my new trailer... Still have that original new trailer to this day too.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Did he tell you who did the pre-delivery inspection?
Or, are you trolling on a slow Saturday afternoon? :@

Warranty? what warranty? Most warranties on new RV's, are not worth the paper they are written on.

True. However, if new the repairs get done for free under warranty. Used, you're on your own.

If, you are willing to wait anywhere from a couple days, to six months or more for the dealer to get around to the "low priority" warranty repair because that job is both guaranteed, and lower paying than the guy that rolled in with the 3 year old unit he is willing to pay cash for the repair on NOW.

FREE under warranty.....after leaving it at a dealer for weeks/months.
NO THANKS!

Would rather fix it myself, have it done right and done NOW

Just like I ended up doing with my NEW---ORDERED 5th wheel :B

As if buying new was a guarantee of no problems? Due diligence needs to be observed whether it's new or used.
