Wyoming High Wind Warning

A little “breezy” here a few days ago! The photo from the Wyoming Highway Patrol Association. Guessing that someone “fat fingered the keyboard”!

No kidding. When you see a bunch of speed goats plastered against the west side of a right of way fence you know you're in Wyoming...
I built a job in Glenrock one winter. Only place I could (and did) windsurf off a tag line on the crane!
When we went to Alaska, I wondered how much worse it would be working the Arctic in the winter. Found out it wasn't a lot differnet.... The Slope was that cold ALL the time, but Wyoming didn't give up much to it.

I don't believe that even a enhanced Fujita scale 5 tornado reaches those wind speeds. The most powerful tornado I'm aware of was the Moore Oklahoma tornado at 301mph.

So was it suppose to say 35 MPH or 55 MPH ? 35 is a bit gusty and I personally would not want to tow my TT in it but, that is not that windy for around here.

Well scratch that state from my travels - it would just ruing my hair:)! (Beautiful state, and enjoy the sign... Recognize the location - and it can get a bit breezy at times:)!)
