Hello
We stayed at a KOA ouside of the park. No Bears. lots of people, went inside the park for the day. I felt safer, more people around.

Soft sided, hard sided, or car...don't kid yourself because that bear can easily get into any of them very easily.

This thread made me smile. I think listen to the advice, you don't want to take any risks. Or maybe try somewhere a little less bear friendly while your baby is so young ๐Ÿ™‚

I would call the park headquarters and ask their opinion. maybe you could sleep in the car or truck with the baby and the formula. ??

I'd do hotel.....all you need is for the baby to make a stinky poop or upchuck and you may be in trouble. ๐Ÿ™‚

It'snot often I actually LOL but that did it.

I wouldn't sleep in anything resembling a tent at Yellowstone ever again.
We had a bear going through our stuff in the middle of the night looking for food just ten feet from our tent as we peered through the flap.
I'd never risk it again with my wife or family in tow.

Not to be rude but maybe you should find a bear box big enough for you and the baby!! DW and I have been in a pop-up when the bear comes to visit. Not something I would like to repeat. BTW, we sold the pop-up two weeks later and bought our first hard side. Still not bear proof but the false sense of security is worth it's weight in gold!

.44 mag pistol or hard sided camper. No, on second though the .44 mag is just to much excitement, go with a hard side or hotel.

Can you keep powder formula in a can and maybe then set the formula can in a cleaned coffee can with cover in your fridge? Then make the bottle with water when you need it? I can't offer much more help; I breastfed my kids but others may chime in. Have fun. Yosemite is beautiful.
